Unfathomable
There was something inside me that tickled. Something that held my breath for quite sometime. I couldn’t imagine where it had begun. And as it grew bigger, it demanded to be noticed. I was fighting a phantom i could not fathom.
Something that supposedly no longer exist inside me. Something i thought would not happen to me. Continue reading “Unfathomable”

Happiness Is A Bitch
– Are you happy?
– Why do you ask that?
– You don’t look happy to me. That’s all.
– So I have to be able to tell you all that I am happy without uttering a word. Is that it?
– No. That’s not what I meant.
– So elaborate.
– Normal people would express their happiness. From their facial expression, their gestures, their way of talking, their choice of songs to sing, and everything else normal person would do when they are happy.
– Why so? Why can’t I keep my happiness for my own? Continue reading “Happiness Is A Bitch”
A Dying Star’s Wish
Look up there. The sky above covered us with gleaming stars and galaxies. A vast place beyond our grasp called universe. And here we are, stuck in a place called earth looking at those tiny shining dots in the night sky. We hold hands like two giant stars of Tatooine. Now i understand perfectly why, Neil DeGrasse Tyson said he felt big in this corner of the universe. This night i don’t feel small at all, because you are laying next to me. We don’t say a word. We speak with our gestures. You repeteadly tightening your grip whenever you see a shooting star, while i watch your eyes shining by amazement wondering what do you wish for. But it doesn’t matter.
I have what i wished for. I love this moment where nothing stands in our way. Continue reading “A Dying Star’s Wish”
Teens part 2
That little note he left made us all wondering.
“I exist.”
I knew that particular detail from my mom. She was a friend of his mother. He hung himself with a guitar strap in his room. Not even his parents know why.
He was a normal kid with the least of problem in his hands. He was an only child. All affection went to him alone. He got all the needs he asked.
The question of why haunted everyone including me. That smile he sent me must’ve meant something.
But the police never tried harder. They ended the case with a simply suicide of a teen. My mind wondered further to be his personal detective.
“Being afraid is a serious violation of the force in the universe.” He said on a clear day when we were still a pair of close friends. Continue reading “Teens part 2”
Teens part 1
And she asked him, the most cunning boy in the room.
“How old are you?”
“16 ma’am”
“Lovely. So tell me, what do you think of teen as a teen?”
She smiled after the question. That smile lingered waiting upon his answer.
He didn’t answer it right away. He began to look around the room. He looked into each one if us. That flat face on his face gazed down to our deepest souls. I was the last boy he stared. He smiled at me and went back to her.
We all held our breath waiting for his word. He knew. He enjoyed being at the center of attention. Continue reading “Teens part 1”
What if..
What if the sky is green..
Would that makes your grass blue?
What if the night is bright?
Would that makes your day dark?
What if i add sugar to your coffee..
Would that makes your coffee less bitter?
What if i tell you something..
Would that makes you someone?
What if i leave..
Would that makes you look for me?
What if i say one day..
Would that makes you wait for someday?
What if i mumble about what if..
Would that makes you think your own list?
Day Shifters
1200 hour. awake as bright as the moon
lost in our own spaces. touch everything near
and make them ours
three hours we laid down like corpses
attending our own funeral
driving our own hearse
seeing faces we haven’t seen,
we become friends with them
rain fell
painted a beautiful rainbow as it leaves
it’s only five in the morning
dead is gone. scattered by the light
dreams become realities
maggots morphed into men
we hide ourselves from the mirror
pretend to be who we are not
smile to fake the lies
and steal what isn’t ours
lost in our own riddle,
we became fragile
blitz of boredom,
turned us into a beast
and along with the boxes we stole
we made us kings of our own kingdom
last thing we know
life of ours have ended on six
and now its time to sleep
kill the sick and salute them with a slit
so long my friend.
see you on my dreamland
Your Call
What would you do when you fell in love with another person when you are engaged? Someone that might truly held your future. Someone that might give you something you may never find in others. That’s the question of faith. You would never know what might come to your way and all you could do is hold fast so you may not drown in the possibilities.
Consider this: the feeling of your fiancée and your true feeling towards that another someone. Now that’s tough. It’ll drag you to the start line.
Would you save the long relationship when suddenly you gradually lost the feeling to the bond or would you be an asshole and leave towards something unknown to you?
That’s life. I was pushed towards a whirlpool and drown to my misery. It was indeed a tough one. Or at least for me, it was a hard decision to make. To my left, stood a future I built for years and through blood shed. To my right, a dark future that I may not figure out until I walk the path. I was damned to my thought that somehow I pushed everyone away from me. I was fighting a losing game when it comes to face my confusion. And out of desperation, I made a selfish move. I decided to hang myself and stay alone for eternity. A coward move that I loathe so much making my death isn’t enough to pay the debt. You might say ‘That was easy. Stick to your plan and forget the intruder.’ And yes I may be agreeing with you when I don’t have to move. Or you’d go with ‘Stay true to your heart. You’re no longer feeling a thing for her, why would you keep the ring?’
True, those thoughts crossed my mind along with billions other thoughts. But I was a filthy childish man without a solid ground under my feet. I hate myself for not knowing what to do instead running away from the trouble. Now here is the question for you; what would you do if you were me?
Get to my tomb and speak aloud your answer. I’ll be waiting from hell.
Sincerely,
Your dead buddy
